South African Mardouw Olive Estate received two Gold Awards at Anatolian IOOC held in Turkey during its debut participation in this prestigious International Olive Oil Competition

Swellendam, Western Cape, South Africa – 8 May 2026 – Mardouw Olive Estate has once again reinforced South Africa’s position on the global Extra Virgin Olive Oil stage, earning two Gold Awards at the prestigious Anatolian International Olive Oil Competition (Anatolian IOOC) in Turkey.

The estate received Gold Awards for both its Mardouw XXV Medium Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Mardouw XXV Intense Extra Virgin Olive Oil, marking another milestone in the producer’s growing international success.

The latest achievement follows Mardouw’s historic ranking of #24 in the 2025 EVOO World Rankings, the highest position ever attained by a South African olive oil producer. The recognition further underscores the estate’s consistency in producing the highest level of quality Extra Virgin Olive Oils that continue to earn accolades across leading international competitions and reinforcing its position as South Africa’s most awarded producer over the past four years.
