Moroccan supplier of turnkey mini irrigation systems, Magriser has opened a new factory in Morocco.
The new facility sits on a 6,480 m2 of land in Ain Johra industrial zone, in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region of the country. With an aim to boost the company’s production. It is set to manufacture pipes needed to set up drip irrigation systems alongside simple and integrated pipes. The equipment will be sold in across Africa.
A total of 140 employees who will be recruited from the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra region of Morocco. In addition to pipes, the Moroccan company supplies pond liners and micro-irrigation systems for filtration and fertigation, an agricultural technique that applies water-soluble fertilizers through an irrigation system. The company also offers solar-powered pumping systems, as well as consulting services.
“This new production unit allows the manufacture of drip pipes for irrigation with the latest generation of machinery, 20 million m3 of pipes per year, expandable to 100 million m3 per year once the plant is fully operational,” said the firm.
