Orbia Advance Corporation, Precision Agriculture business group Netafim today announced that its Dosing 5G portfolio has been selected as winner of the “Precision Fertilization Solution of the Year” award in the 7th annual AgTech Breakthrough Awards program conducted by AgTech Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global agricultural and food technology markets today.

Fertilizer has become one of the most constrained and costly inputs on the farm, yet conventional dosing systems remain reactive and operator-dependent, often requiring manual calibration and struggling to stabilize under changing field conditions. The result is over-application, nutrient waste and inconsistent crop performance. Dosing 5G approaches fertigation differently, treating it as an optimization solution rather than a dosing task.

Orbia Netafim’s Dosing 5G product range is designed to advance precision fertigation through AI-automated dosing technology, intuitive remote control and real-time monitoring. The system continuously analyzes key hydraulic and agronomic parameters, including flow, pressure, EC and pH, and automatically adjusts nutrient and water delivery to maintain stable, accurate conditions throughout each irrigation cycle. Its self-learning capabilities help growers respond to changing crop needs and field conditions with less manual intervention, while integration with Orbia Netafim’s GrowSphere™ platform brings irrigation and fertigation into one connected workflow, enabling growers to plan, manage and validate the process from a single digital environment.

The Dosing 5G portfolio spans greenhouse, soilless and open-field operations: NetaJet™ 5G, an ultra-responsive system for sensitive crops and short irrigation cyclesFertiKit™ 5G, a modular system for open fields and orchards; FertiOne™ 5G, a single-channel solution for efficient bulk fertigation with plug-and-play installation;; and NetaFlex™ 5G, a high-uniformity solution with open tank mixing and dual EC/pH sensors. In the field, results include higher nutrient use efficiency, reduced fertilizer waste, improved crop uniformity and more predictable yields, with dozens of deployments worldwide.

“Dosing 5G reflects our commitment to delivering intelligent, comprehensive solutions that help farmers make better decisions, improve performance and farm more sustainably,” said Ofer Oveed, VP, Technologies & Crops at Orbia Netafim. “This recognition reinforces what drives our innovation, helping farmers succeed with greater precision, efficiency and confidence in an increasingly complex world.”

The AgTech sector is rapidly redefining how food is produced, managed and distributed – transforming one of the world’s most essential industries. From AI-driven crop analytics and precision farming platforms to sustainable agriculture solutions and autonomous equipment, AgTech is delivering greater efficiency, transparency and environmental responsibility.

The mission of the annual AgTech Breakthrough Awards program is to recognize the innovators transforming the global agricultural and food production landscape through technology. The program conducts a comprehensive analysis of the companies, technologies and solutions redefining how crops are grown, livestock is managed and food is produced and distributed. From precision agriculture platforms and farm management software to AI-driven yield forecasting, IoT-based soil and water sensing, and synthetic biology innovations, these breakthrough innovations are enabling agricultural companies to operate more sustainably, feed a growing global population and shape the future of how the world grows and produces food.

“Input efficiency has been one of the strongest themes across this year’s entries, and fertigation is becoming one of the most important areas of innovation in precision agriculture,” said Bryan Vaughn, Managing Director, AgTech Breakthrough. “Dosing 5G stood out in our evaluation for how completely it automates a task growers have long managed by hand, and for delivering that capability across an entire product line rather than a single device. We are proud to recognize Orbia Netafim as our 2026 Precision Fertilization Solution of the Year.”

As fertilizer markets remain tight, Orbia Netafim continues to expand Dosing 5G and its GrowSphere integrations, bringing autonomous fertigation to more crops, climates and operational scales.
