Hyundai Doosan Infracore signed an agreement with Italian agricultural machinery manufacturer to supply 8,000 engines

▶ On Nov. 10, HDI signed an agreement with Goldoni Keestrack to supply engines at EIMA 2022, a global hub for agricultural machinery

▶ HDI will supply 8,000 small-sized diesel engines, G2, over the span of 5 years which will be installed to agricultural machines in Europe including tractors

Hyundai Doosan Infracore (HDI), an affiliate of Hyundai Genuine (sub-holding company under Hyundai Heavy Industries Group) signed an agreement with Goldoni Keestrack to supply 8,000 G2 engines at EIMA international 2022 held in Bologna, Italy for 5 days from Nov. 9 to 13.

EIMA is one of the top 3 agricultural machinery exhibitions in Europe where 480 exhibiting companies representing 40 countries participate, and 300,000 visitors from 160 countries come to enjoy.

Goldoni Keestrack is an agricultural machine manufacturer established in 1927 which show great strengths in specialized tractors such as 4WD and Equal Wheels.

Goldoni Keestrack chose HDI’s engine for mass production because of its overall superiority with high efficiency, quality, and price competitiveness and because it is suitable for Europe’s tractors with its compact design and meets the latest stage V emissions standards.

HDI plans to advance into Europe’s small-sized tractor market in full swing after the EIMA exhibition.

Vice President and Head of Sales & PS Hyungtaek Lim of HDI said, “HDI’s highly efficient and environmentally friendly G2 engines have been widely used for construction equipment and forklifts in Europe and signing this contract will provide a bridge to enter Europe’s agricultural machinery market that we weren’t involved before. This will provide an opportunity to expand the market. We also agreed to hold a strategic discussion with Keestrack, the holding company of Goldoni, to supply diesel engines and full hybrid engines for screeners and battery packs for electric tractors.”
