Pieter Graaff is Western Cape Farmer of the Year.

Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing, the largest exporter of South African apples and pears, is pleased to announce that its chairman, Mr Pieter Graaff has been chosen by the Agricultural Writers Association as the 2018 Western Cape Farmer of the Year and is now in line for the prestigious national title of South African Farmer of the Year, expected later in November.

In commending Graaff the Association said that Graaff, through his Witzenberg Properties holdings, is the single biggest apple producer in South Africa with a 2018 production of 46, 783 tons.
