Papers are invited for ASTM International’s 43rd Symposium on Pesticide Formulation and Delivery Systems: Creating Certainty in an Uncertain World, to be held Nov. 7-9, 2023, in Washington, D.C. The event is sponsored by ASTM International’s pesticides, antimicrobials, and alternative control agents committee (E35) and will be held in conjunction with the committee’s November standards development meetings.
This symposium will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of formulation, new technologies/chemistries, methods, and application technologies associated with pesticides, agrochemicals, and more. Primary attention will be directed to presentations related to:
- Global regulatory trends impacting agrochemical formulations;
- Formulation technologies to improve agrochemical applications and efficacy;
- Application technologies related to improved pesticide applications and drift reduction;
- Product stewardship, sustainability, and safety; and
- Physical and chemical test methods related to crop protection products.
Other topics of interest include but are not limited to: application technologies, farming techniques, delivery systems, and innovative crop protection chemicals to improve safety and sustainability.
To participate in the symposium, authors must submit a 250 to 300-word preliminary abstract using the online Abstract Submission Portal no later than June 9, 2023. To ensure your abstract was received into the ASTM database, please email symposia@astm.org and share that you have submitted an abstract.
