The Irrigation Foundation is pleased to announce that The Toro Company will be a lead sponsor of the 2019 Irrigation E3 program. Through this sponsorship, E3 winners will receive education and travel awards for the 2019 Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Las Vegas.

The E3 program provides students and faculty with exposure, experience and education in the irrigation industry by giving them the chance to attend classes, network with industry professionals and walk the trade show floor at the annual Irrigation Show. Since the program’s inception, The Toro Company has been a huge part of the program’s success. When it began in 2012, there were six winners, and in 2018 the program grew to 32 participants.

“Toro’s sponsorship since the start of the program is a key reason for the increase in applications year after year,” said Foundation Director Janine Sparrowgrove. “We are thankful that The Toro Company and other sponsors are playing an active role in securing the future of the irrigation industry through support of Foundation programs such as E3.”

The Toro Company will present the Foundation with a $20,000 check for the 2019 program later today on the Irrigation Show exhibition hall floor in Long Beach, California, where the 2018 E3 program winners are currently attending the 2018 Irrigation Show and Education Conference. Thirty students and two educators from colleges and universities around the country were selected as winners of the Foundation’s 2018 E3 program.
