The 2026 edition of this major agricultural machinery exhibition features a very large number of manufacturers specialising in components, spare parts and accessories. A total of 958 companies from the sector are exhibiting their product ranges, spread across EIMA’s three exhibition halls: ‘Components’, ‘Idrotech’ and ‘Digital’. At the cutting edge of materials, design and electronics, components are a driving force for innovation across the entire agricultural machinery industry.

Among the product sectors represented at EIMA International, the components sector is the largest. Of the 1,800 companies exhibiting at the international agricultural machinery exhibition – taking place at the Bologna Exhibition Centre from 10 to 14 November – as many as 958, including 388 from abroad, produce components, spare parts and accessories for agricultural machinery.

Component manufacturers are present in the ‘Idrotech’ showcase, dedicated to irrigation systems; in the ‘Digital’ showcase, dedicated to advanced electronic systems for machine management and field operation control; but above all in the ‘Components’ showcase, which covers an extremely wide range of products – from axles to tyres, from braking systems to cab fittings, from engines to the endless variety of mechanical parts for machinery and equipment – and which alone accounts for 555 exhibiting companies, 191 of which are from abroad.

In addition to Italian companies – which have historically been among the most advanced in the design and manufacture of components, and which are present in force at EIMA 2026 with a wide range of products and models – there are numerous manufacturers from China, Turkey, the United States, Germany, France and Spain.

On the other hand – as pointed out by FederUnacoma, the Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, which is the direct organiser of EIMA International – the components sector has emerged in recent years as a particularly dynamic and strategic sector for agricultural machinery, as it is closely linked to the manufacturing industries and, at the same time, to the spare parts and technical support networks.

Above all, however – as the Federation of Manufacturers emphasises – components are a fundamental element for technological innovation in the sector. Indeed, improvements in the performance of agricultural machinery and equipment depend to a large extent on the characteristics of the components introduced, which stem from research into materials, design and digital applications.

These enable comprehensive monitoring of machinery throughout the various stages of operation, allow for the recording of all agronomic and environmental parameters, and ensure ever-greater ergonomics and safety for operators.
