Zambia-Zimbabwe Village is a newly established platform that will create business linkages and opportunities for Zimbabweans and Zambians in a bid to strengthen economic and social relations between the two nations.
“We developed this idea to allow Zambians and Zimbabweans to leverage off each other and do business together in an effort to transform livelihoods and strengthen the people to people relations between the nations,” said Kuzivakwashe Mtandiro the spokesperson of the Zambia Zimbabwe village.
The Zimbabwe village is set to be an exhibition village that will be a part of the Zambia Agriculture and Commercial Show which is set to be held in Lusaka under the theme : Innovation Through Technology- Technology Transforms Business from 27th July to 1st August 2022.
Scope of event
Zimbabwean business entity Mumba Money has already secured space for Zimbabweans and interested Zimbabweans are in the process of preparing for the exhibition.
Kuzivakwashe Mtandiro added that, “This village presents a special opportunity to for Zimbabwean businesses to exhibit at the inaugural Zimbabwe Village at the Zambian Agricultural and Commercial show.”
The Agricultural and Commercial show is organised by the Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia (ACSZ). It is ZAMBIA’s premier show held in the Capital City Lusaka, for six days. The first show was held in 1919. The show provides a platform for Business to business exchange in agriculture, agribusiness trade information and commercial as well as creating opportunities to show case emerging farming technologies, product innovation and value addition.
Exhibitors at the show have over the years included companies from many countries. The Zimbabwe village will provide a special opportunity for Zimbabwean businesses to market themselves in Lusaka, Zambia while networking and interacting with leading regional and international brands.
